Myrtle Corbin - The Four Legged Woman

You may be sitting there asking yourself, "Oh my, what does this woman with four legs have to do with Marc and Liz's wedding?" Is she an aunt? A great-grandmother? A wacky neighbor from down the hall? No, my friends and family. Myrtle Corbin is the woman who brought Liz and I together. It was March 4, 2000 when I, Marc, was at my friend Samm's birthday party deep down in Brooklyn's glorious Sunset Park. I was talking to a group of friends about freaks, as I like to do. Suddenly, in walked Liz proclaiming she knew all about the four-legged woman I was talking about (I would later learn that Liz actually knew everything). Liz knew about how Myrtle Corbin had several children from each set of reproductive organs. I was very impressed and had to talk to this strange, knowledgeable, and attractive woman (Liz, not Myrtle). Did she understand that Myrtle had an unborn parasitic twin explaining the superfluous pair of legs? And what other good freaky stuff did she know? We began talking and later that night she drove me back to Manhattan. We went on our first date later that week. Had it not been for this wondrous woman, this site may not exist. For this reason, Myrtle Corbin will always have a special place in our hearts.
